Who we are

Otherworld Reserve (the "Platform", "we", "us") is operated by ‹‹ENTITY››, a company incorporated in ‹‹JURISDICTION››, registered at ‹‹ADDRESS››. By using the Platform you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use it.

Who can use it

You must be at least ‹‹MIN AGE›› years old, not located in or resident of ‹‹EXCLUDED››, and not subject to sanctions administered by the United States or any other applicable authority. You are responsible for knowing whether your local law allows you to use a platform like this; we can't give that advice.

Your account

You sign in with Internet Identity or a crypto wallet. We never hold your private keys or recovery phrases, never ask for them, and there is no password. If you lose access to your identity or wallet, we cannot restore your account, chips or winnings. You are responsible for everything done through your account.

Chips and the OWX token

• Chips are play credits for the Platform's games, bought as shown on the site. ‹‹CHIP TERMS: refundability, cash-out eligibility, limits››
• OWX is a token on the Internet Computer. It is not an investment, a security, a share, or a claim on any asset or revenue. Its price can go to zero, and nothing on the Platform is financial advice.
• Chips or tokens obtained by error, exploit or fraud may be reversed. Where we do that, we'll say so and explain why.

Games and fairness

The Platform offers games with wagers and arcade games without them. The house edge is disclosed on the site; over time, play loses money on average. Game outcomes are provably fair as described at /fairness. Poker runs on HoldemHeroes, on the Internet Computer, under its own rules.

Prizes, bounties and the Reserve

Prize and bounty rules are shown on the site and may change. We may withhold, reverse or void an award that arose from fraud, a defect, an exploit or a compromise of our systems, and we'll explain why. The Hangout and community features

The Hangout shows members as avatars with display names, and may show "away" avatars for members who aren't there live (see the Privacy Policy). Builders' Hall rooms you create, and documents you upload to investigations, must be yours to share and must not be unlawful, infringing or abusive. Acceptable use

Don't use the Platform where it's unlawful for you to do so; run multiple accounts to get around eligibility rules; exploit a defect rather than report it; automate play for an unfair advantage; try to access accounts, data or systems that aren't yours; or use the Platform to launder funds. We may suspend or close accounts that do.

Availability and third parties

The Platform is provided as-is and may be paused, unavailable or withdrawn at any time; we pause games deliberately when something looks wrong. It depends on services we don't control (the Internet Computer, Solana, Discord, X, and our hosting, database and AI providers), and we're not responsible for their failures.

Liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, the Platform comes without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for losses from losing access to your identity or wallet, token price movements, third-party networks or providers, or game outcomes played under the published rules. Where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to ‹‹LIABILITY CAP››. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud or anything else that can't be excluded by law.

Changes

We may change these Terms. We'll update the date above and announce material changes; continuing to use the Platform afterwards means you accept them.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of ‹‹GOVERNING LAW››, whose courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
