# Holder Distribution Policy

**Last updated: ‹‹DATE››**

This policy explains how OWX is burned and distributed to OWX holders from poker table rake, and who is eligible. It adds to the [Terms of Service](/terms). Every distribution is published, transfer by transfer, on the [treasury page](/treasury).

## Not an investment

OWX is not a security, a share, or a claim on any revenue or asset. **Distributions are discretionary.** They can be changed, paused or stopped at any time, and there is no promise that any will be made, of any size. Nothing here is financial advice.

## Where distributions come from

Each period, the rake collected at HoldemHeroes poker tables is converted into OWX at the period's price. Part of it is **burned** (sent to the OWX minting account, which removes it from the supply) and the rest is **distributed to registered holders**. The split is set by the Platform and shown on the treasury page.

## Who is eligible

- **Only registered holders.** A wallet is eligible only if a member has proved it on their account page, by sending the exact small amount of OWX the site asks for from that wallet (that amount goes to the treasury and isn't returned), or if it is the account's linked Internet Identity or HoldemHeroes principal.
- **Never eligible.** The treasury and reserve wallets, the payout wallet, the minting account, the fee collector, liquidity pools, the Platform's house bots, suspended accounts, and any wallet the Platform excludes for good reason.
- Holders who haven't registered are left out. Their share goes to registered holders.

## How amounts are worked out

Each eligible wallet receives a share of the period's distribution in proportion to the OWX it held at the time of the snapshot. Amounts too small to cover the OWX transfer fee aren't sent; they carry over to the next period.

## Approval and records

Each distribution is reviewed and approved by an admin before anything is sent. Every burn and payout is recorded with its ledger block.
